As well as iOS 8 integration. Keeps the same benefits, but new UI makes me want to utilize it more often
I’ve tried lots of mood & wellness apps and this is the best of the bunch. It’s beautifully designed & full of tools and suggestions that have me acting & thinking in ways that make me feel healthier & happier. Well worth the price! Thanks for the update!
LOVE this app! Its an amazingly helpful tool to improve your mood and especially in working through negative self-thought! Next best thing to therapy! Totally worth the few bucks. Great design too. Highly recommend it!
Overall I like this app. The big weakness is that the mood tracker only lets you do one mood per day. Also, some of the journal questions come across as cheesy or annoying or just unhelpful. However, other ones are direct and helpful, and Ive already created a couple templates of my own that I think will be useful. I like the thought checker: its brief and convenient but also to the point. I like having the long list of suggested feelings and the option to pick more than one, and its more convenient to have a list of distortions there rather than pulling out a piece of paper and having to go by memory when on the run. I also appreciate that theres an option to say theres no distortion but still a better way of looking at things. Ive only looked at a couple of the activities but the apparent variety is impassive. And again, the convenience factor is amazing.
Very motivational. Many options and tools offered to help with moods. I highly recommend it!
Overall like this app and I use regularly. A few improvements could be made, like ability to write your own emotion in the thought checker, and to pick more than 3. I would like to see more sophisticated mood ranking tools, for example to score and chart the Beck Depression Index
Its a great way to step back from my anxious thoughts and put them into perspective. I love the pre and post emotion assessment where you can select and rate emotions you feel right after you experience a thought and after youve worked through the thought in the app. Genius!
So far so good, I will get back to you in a month
I struggle with depression and it stinks. But, this app really does help me reign in my negative spin on different situations. I highly recommend this app!!!!
Unlimited mood entries per day with a detailed mood chart showing daily averages, ranges, and one-tap access to mood notes right from the chart. Fully customizable journal templates and mood improvement activity "cards." Thought checking tool with a detailed distortion list. Fully exportable journal and data. CBT toolkit in your pocket.
Im not a fan of cognitive therapy but this app is so much more. It has enabled me to make small behavioral changes resulting in mood elevation.
Dont waste your money! There are better apps out there for you!
I use the mood check in as a reminder to take medication, keep track of fluctuating moods, and remind myself to be present and thoughtful. The thought distortions list is helpful and I especially like the suggestion for things things to do like running, meeting friends, etc with a follow up to see if it helped.
As someone recovering from a pretty nasty bout of depression/anxiety, I was looking for a tool to keep me from slipping back into unhealthy patterns. This works great! It gives you a place to go to chart your ups and downs, and helps you think through your logic when you feel like your reactions might be a bit off. Ive found it an invaluable tool.
Pales in comparison to other available apps. If I could ask for my money back, I would. No analytics to speak of, no real insights, just a series of tasks "designed" to help you improve your mood over time as you create helpful habits for yourself. Yes, this is probably based on sound CBT practices, but basically a checklist is not worth $5. Avoid this and look at mood analysis and correlation apps. Most of them are cheaper, or even free.
This app can help you deal with lifes quirky situations that everyone goes through. Psychiatrists will give you the same exact thought checker sheets. This app gives you a great spot to keep track of your thoughts, so you can make meaningful progress in mindfulness. I recommend this app when the situation calls, it has helped me get through nights when I dont have someone around to talk to about stuff.
Very clean, well-worded interface. Its wonderful.
I come and go from using mood kit because honestly the barebones interface is to get into. A daily dashboard showing the last time each mode was used or a launch window recommending a mode might make the app easier to engage with. However, the basic CBT principles shine through and the thought distortion mode is worth the price alone. It really helps when I hit a depressive low but Id like something I could engage more proactively than reactively.
I downloaded this app in Fall 2012 and still use it now (January 2016). Whenever Im upset, I use this app. Its like a portable therapist. Its helpful to see what thought distortions Im using. Its helpful to identify and rate my moods before and after I process a thought and check the facts. I journal a lot, too. Its a great app. I highly recommend it.
